The school year is focused around the points below.
- What is 3D Printing? (Additive Manufacturing)
-It is important kids know what can and can’t be done with this kind of technology.
-It is essential they understand some key vocabulary: workplane, overhang, layers, and infill. - Learn the basics of design.
-Students will need to create a log in for Tinkercad
-The first seven lessons on the site lay the ground work for using Tinkercad . Make sure the students are following the instructions of the lessons. Many will just try to click through it…
-Knowing how to move things on the workplane, edit the grid, and quickly copy an object, and move around the camera are must know skills.
