Curriculum
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge.
- Proverbs 1:7
The Bible
curriculum forms the foundation of the school. Students must be
familiar with the contents of the Bible because its revelation is
absolutely essential for life and godliness. Instruction from the
Bible is incorporated in ALL subject areas as we seek to give them a
Christian world and life view.

High
school students must complete a minimum of 26 credits in order to
graduate. All students must complete 4 credits in English, 3 credits
in social studies, 3 credits in math, 3 credits in science, 2
credits in health/physical education, and 2 credits in arts/humanities.
NCS offers a dual enrollment option for 11th and 12th grade students.
Students may choose to take an online college class as an NCS elective
class. They would receive college credit for the class as well as
credit on their high school transcript. Students who are interested
in pursuing a dual enrollment class must get approval from NCS for
each specific class before enrolling in that college class. Interested
students should contact Patty Furman, Dual Enrollment Coordinator, to
learn more about the classes and colleges/universities available for
dual enrollment as well as the fees that different institutions charge.
