Ways to help NCS Financially

There are several ongoing fundraisers at NCS that do not cost any money, and are a great help to the school! Please browse through to see if there are any in which you can participate.

Gift Card Program

If you have not used the gift card program yet, we would like to encourage you to do so. When you receive your cards, they can be used just like any other gift card. You will pay no more than you usually would for your groceries. Your card may be reused until the balance reaches zero.

Because we purchase the cards in bulk amounts, NCS receives a percentage of the value of every card. Just imagine how much our school families must spend on groceries each week! Those who consistently participate in this simple program, help earn a significant amount of funds for our school as well as getting a discount on tuition.

If you order gift cards, you will receive a tuition credit on your next statement for half of the percents that the cards pay. For example if your card paid 10%, your credit will be 5% of the value of your order for that card.

We keep many cards in stock that you mayu order through the school office. Any cards not in stock may be ordered by the fourth Monday of the month and the cards will be available by the following Monday.

Although there are hundreds of businesses who participate in this program, our order form will only list a selection from our local area. If you would like to purchase any that are not on our form, please enter it on the "Other" line at the bottom of the sheet. The complete list of available cards can be found here. It includes a wide variety of choices such as Cabela's, Advance Auto Parts, Best Western International, Disney, American Airlines, Best Buy, Golfsmith, Dress Barn, and Chuck E. Cheese, VISA, etc.

Remember, these cards are not just for gift giving but can be used by you or your friends and family members whenever you shop. Buy a few to keep on hand from the businesses you regularly patronize!

Community Aid Drop-off Box
Northumberland Christian School has partnered with Community Aid by placing a clothing bin on the Sheetz Avenue and 6th Street side of our school building. This partnership helps encourage the mission of the Community Aid organinzation to provide quality, gently-used clothing at affordable prices for individuals and families through their retail stores. In return for your donations of clean, gently-used clothing, NCS receives a cash grant based on the pounds of clothing collected. It's a win-win for the community and NCS!

Box Tops for Education
We also encourage you to participate in the Box Tops for Education program. Cheryl Delsite co-ordinates this program for us. Please dowload the Box Tops for Education app to submit Box Tops in support of NCS. Thanks for your help with all these things and your support of the school in so many ways!
